Grey Lots is a Wholesaler specialized in the sale of True Liquidation Merchandise. We are family owned and have been in the Liquidation Industry since 2002. We are experts in supplying resellers large and small with profitable liquidation merchandise at its fraction of its original cost.
What We Do
The large majority of our merchandise is secured under direct contract with Fortune 500 Department Stores & E-commerce Retailers and is mostly made up of Customer Returns, Shelf-Pulls & Overstocks. The estimated amount of goods returned to US retailers is in excess of $221 Billion/Year at full retail value (source: IHL Group). Of course not all those goods end up in Liquidation loads but this figure doesn’t include overstock or discontinued merchandise values.
Grey Lots also Offers Liquidation Services to businesses such as small to medium size retailers, distributors, manufacturers, Logistic Companies, Financial Institutions & more.
Most department stores will liquidate or salvage items that they choose to no longer sell in their stores. These goods will include customer returns, shelf-pulls, marked-down items, out-of-season, discontinued items, in-store display items, overstocks, etc. Each store will operate their program differently & there may be little consistency from store to store. Grey Lots purchases these loads under contract in very large quantities from the stores and makes them available for re-purchase to our customers either as a complete truckloads or broken down in to smaller lots.
Grey Lots was founded in 2002 and began operations in a 6,000 SQFT warehouse/retail store in West Los Angeles with a team of 4 including the current founders & owners.
The initial concept was to purchase excess merchandise from the domestic market and resell it through our retail and online b2c channels that we had initially created
In the early 2000’s the Liquidation Industry was fairly different then today. Supply sources were fairly centralized, customer service was close to non-existent, hundreds of brokers were operating in the industry and transparency was extremely lacking.
Recognizing the opportunity to solve many of the challenges associated with sourcing liquidation merchandise that we faced ourselves, our initial 5 year business plan was quickly transformed and the new one we still see being reinforced today emerged.

WHO CAN/SHOULD BUY FROM US
We cater to all kinds of resale businesses – large and small, very experienced or just starting out. Grey Lots has no minimum order amount and no business license* is needed to purchase from us. Our facility houses both small case pack lots as well as single, multiple pallet lots & full truckloads. With over a decade in the Liquidation Industry and a combined team experience of over 100 Years we can provide an unparalleled array of industry information, resources as well as the largest variety of Liquidation Products at most competitive prices. Our 240,000 SQFT Liquidation Facility is based in the Greater Los Angeles Area (Lynwood). Customers are welcome to visit our facility, meet us in person & visually inspect merchandise prior to purchase**.
